Privacy Policy
My Tier Coach ("the app," "we") is a private coaching app operated by Tony Russo for his coaching clients. This policy explains what information the app collects, how it's used, and the choices you have. Questions: anthony.russo22@gmail.com.
Information we collect
- Client profile: your name, email address, phone number (optional), and any notes your coach adds (for example goals or injuries).
- Login details: your sign-in email and password. Passwords are stored only as a secure one-way hash — never in readable form.
- Training information: the program assigned to you, planned loads, your scheduled sessions, and anything you log (reps, load, rest, notes, and whether a day was completed or skipped).
- A sign-in cookie: a single cookie that keeps you signed in. The app uses no advertising, analytics, or tracking cookies.
How we use it
Only to run your coaching: showing you your program and schedule, letting your coach plan and adjust your training, and sending calendar invites for sessions you're booked into. We do not sell your information, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone outside what's described here.
Google services
The coach connects the app to his own Google account. Clients never sign in with Google. With the coach's permission, the app uses:
- Google Calendar — to list the coach's calendars and to create, update, and cancel events for scheduled sessions. When a session is booked, the client's email is added to the event as a guest so Google sends them an invite.
- Google Sheets — to store exercises, programs, assignments, and logged workouts in a spreadsheet in the coach's own Google Drive.
- Basic account info (email address) — to show which Google account is connected.
Data from Google is used only to provide these features inside the app. It is not sold, not used for advertising, not used to train AI models, and not shared with third parties except as needed to provide the app (for example, our hosting provider). My Tier Coach's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. The coach can disconnect Google at any time from the app's Settings page or from his Google Account's security settings.
Where it's stored
The app runs on Railway, a cloud hosting provider in the United States. Client profiles, logins, and the schedule are stored there; programs and workout logs are stored in the coach's Google Sheet. All traffic to the app is encrypted (HTTPS).
Who can see your information
Your coach can see everything in your profile and training log. You can see only your own program, schedule, and logs — never another client's.
Keeping and deleting your information
Your information is kept while you're a client. To get a copy of it, correct it, or have it deleted, email anthony.russo22@gmail.com.
Young athletes
The app isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. Accounts for athletes under 18 are set up only with a parent or guardian's permission.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
